Traditionell bietet der 1. Mai, der Tag vor dem Jahrestag der Befreiung des Konzentrationslagers Wöbbelin, Angehörigen von ehemaligen Häftlingen Raum zum Austausch. So findet auch in diesem Jahr am Freitag, dem 1. Mai, das internationale Angehörigenforum statt.

Um 15 Uhr wird die Tanzperformance „Jenseits der Stille“ des Tanztheaters Lysistrate auf dem ehemaligen Lagergelände des KZ Wöbbelin an der L72 aufgeführt.

Das anschließende Internationale Angehörigenforum beginnt um 16 Uhr im Besucherzentrum in Wöbbelin bei Kaffee und Kuchen. Anschließend ist ein gemeinsames Abendessen geplant.

26. April: „Deutschland, siehst du das nicht…?“ – Untergang der Weimarer Republik (1929-1933) / Ein Literaturkonzert der Gruppe Opus 45 mit MusikerInnen namhafter Orchester und dem Schauspieler Roman Knižka

30. April: Lesung und Vernissage der Ausstellung „Stille Zeugnisse“ im Gemeindehaus Rastow

2. Mai: Internationale Gedenkveranstaltung am ehemaligen Lagergelände.

 

Traditionally, May 1st—the day before the anniversary of the liberation of the Wöbbelin concentration camp—offers relatives of former prisoners an opportunity to come together and exchange with one another. This year the International Relatives’ Forum will take place again on Friday, May 1st.

At 3 p.m., the dance performance “Beyond Silence” by the Lysistrate Dance Theater will be staged on the former camp grounds of the Wöbbelin concentration camp along the L72.

The International Relatives’ Forum begins at 4 p.m. at the Visitor Center in Wöbbelin, accompanied by coffee and cake. A joint dinner is planned for the evening.
